My child has a food allergy. What should I do?

First, it's important to give the school proper notification. Pick up, or ask your child's teacher for, a food allergy notification form available in the school Clinic. Complete and turn this form in to your child's teacher. This will notify both the school Nurse and Cafeteria of the allergy. The Cafeteria Manager will then flag your child's account and staff will be notified on days that the menu contains the allergic item. Cafeteria staff will then work with your child to receive an alternative menu item.
