Pre-K News...
Pre-K The Cougar Way (important reading for Pre-K parents!!)
This week we learned about the changes in the season. We discussed what happens in the fall, how we should dress for the season and we learned about what is harvested in the fall. We talked about apples, pumpkins and fall leaf colors.
This weekend help your child spot signs of the season. Send in your pinecones, fallen leaves and other evidence of fall that you and your child discover. We would all love to see what you find.
This weekend help your child find things for our “Word Wall”. These can be wrappers from a happy meal or empty packages from around the house. This will help your child to associate the picture with the actual printed word.
Mark you Calendars:
October 6-10th: Fall Break
October 13th: Visit from the Newton County Fire Department
We need your box tops! General Mills is offering money for our school for box tops. Please check the tops of your goodies at home and send in those box tops. The class with the most gets a prize! Thanks!
Please Note:
Dr. Jones has asked that parents let their children come to class on their own in the mornings.
We know they can do it!
Thanks!
