SCHOOL BOARD AUTHORITY

The Newton County Board of Education derives its authority to control and manage the Newton County School District from the Constitution of the State of Georgia and from State statutes. The authority vested in the Newton County Board of Education by these Constitutional provisions and State statutes cannot be delegated.
