SCHOOL ATTENDANCE ZONES

The Newton County Board of Education will establish school attendance areas by the assignment of pupils to the various schools within the district. Pupil assignments will be made in a manner to best serve the interest and efficient operation of the common schools, and in accordance with the dictates of local, state, and federal laws.

The Newton County School District is divided into elementary school attendance areas (Grades K-5), middle school attendance areas (Grades 6-8), and high school attendance areas (Grades 9-12) which encompass the entire county.
