METHOD OF ELECTION OF OFFICERS OF THE BOARD
Date: JANUARY 4, 1999

Officers of the Newton County Board of Education shall be elected at the annual meeting to serve a term as specified by resolution as provided under Enrolled Act 1057 (H.B. No. 1866) effective March 24, 1988. Election shall be by simple majority vote. Officers elected shall include a chairperson and vice-chairperson and any other officers the Board deems advisable.
