SCHOOL BOARD POLICY DISSEMINATION
Date: MARCH 21, 2006

The Newton County Board of Education shall establish policy for the organization and operation of the school system based upon the Constitution and laws of the State of Georgia; State Board of Education policies; court decisions; past procedures; and upon the considered judgment of the Board. These policies shall be compiled and organized into an on-line policy manual. The policy manual will be accessible via a link on the website of the Newton County Schools and in the Public Relations Office. Students, teachers, and concerned citizens are encouraged to become familiar with the policies of the Newton County Board of Education.
