SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
Date: JANUARY 4, 1999

The Board shall review its membership in the Georgia School Boards Association annually. Dues for such membership shall be paid out of system funds.

The Board instructs the Superintendent to keep the Board informed of the affairs of the Georgia School Boards Association and, to keep this organization informed, as directed from time to time, of the Board's concerns and official positions on matters of common interest and concern.

In addition to desiring informational liaison between itself and the school boards association, the Board is also desirous of being officially represented in the association, and also being officially represented in the association's affairs through the election of delegates and/or observers to the governing assembly of this organization.
