GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Date: JANUARY 4, 1999

The primary goals of the administration of the Newton County School System shall be:

1. To faithfully execute and implement the policies of the Newton County Board of Education and the Georgia Board of Education to insure the optimum educational opportunities for every student enrolled.

2. To effectively and efficiently operate the Newton County School System within the framework of the constitution and laws of the state and nation; the policies and procedures of the state and local boards of education; and the guidelines of sound instructional and fiscal practices.

In the continuing effort to ensure these primary goals, secondary goals and objectives shall be developed from time-to-time by the administration.
