EVALUATION OF THE SUPERINTENDENT
Date: JANUARY 4, 1999

Members of the Board of Education shall meet in executive session at least once a year for the purpose of evaluating the Superintendent. A letter summarizing the evaluation shall be placed in the Superintendent's file. This letter shall be signed by the members of the Board of Education and the Superintendent. Minority letters may also be attached with the knowledge of the Board.

The completed evaluation instrument and the summary letter shall be discussed by the Board and the Superintendent, following which the evaluation and summary letter shall be placed in the Superintendent's file. The Superintendent may file a written response to the evaluation. Such response shall also be placed in the Superintendent's file.
