ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF TRANSFER
Date: JANUARY 4, 1999

The basic consideration in the assignment of professional personnel to particular positions in the district shall be the needs of students and the instructional program.

Demotions

Demotion is defined as a transfer to a job with less pay, less responsibility, and less prestige in the community. All three characteristics must be present before a demotion has taken place.

No employee shall be demoted during contract term without being offered the opportunity for due process hearing.
