The Newton County School System no longer offers substitute teacher training sessions. These sessions will be offered through Griffin Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA), located in Griffin, GA.
Candidates interested in substitute teaching in Newton County will need to attend one of the half-day sessions held at Griffin RESA. Upon completion of this session, each candidate will receive a certificate. This certificate is required in order for a candidate to be eligible for the substitute teacher roster.

Fee: $25 Cash (must be exact change) or Money Order. (Griffin RESA will NOT accept checks.)
