From the Principal

Dr. Makeba Clark

I would like to welcome you back for the 2015-16 school year.  I am honored to serve as the principal of Cousins Middle School.  It is a great privilege to be a part of such a talented and dedicated faculty and staff, who work tirelessly to meet the individual needs of ALL students, and challenge them to exceed in academic standards.

It is our mission at Cousins Middle School to exhibit a school culture where scholarship, friendliness, respect, and trust are the norm while promoting a school atmosphere where ALL students are empowered to “Believe, Achieve, Succeed” to their highest potential.  We strive to maintain a positive and cohesive learning environment that will offer challenging and effective learning experiences for ALL students.

I believe that a solid partnership between the school, students, parents, and the community is key to building a strong school community and providing successful learning experiences.  I invite you to become active in our school community by joining our Parent Teacher Organization and by supporting our school events.  Please visit our school website frequently for updates on school events and activities.

I anticipate an exciting year as we journey to greater heights of academic excellence.  Putting students first is my top priority!  I look forward to serving you!

Dr. Makeba Clark
