Headed by Ms. Jan Loomans, Director of Operational Services, the Newton County School System maintenance staff is responsible for the completion of work orders as requested from the system’s 27 facilities. The staff also oversees the maintenance of the system’s 886 acres of campuses and athletic fields. In addition, the school system employs a custodial staff to ensure that each school facility is safe, clean, and comfortable for students and staff.
