Welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year!

We are so excited about the new school year! It’s time to get back to work learning, exploring, and growing. The students at East Newton Elementary School have the opportunity to spend 180 days with some of the finest teachers in Newton County. The teachers have lessons planned for our students that will engage and bring excitement to learning.

Registration will begin on July 21, 2014. It will be open from 8:30-3:30 Monday- Friday until the first day of school. Please make every effort to register before the first day of school so that we can go ahead and place your child’s name on a homeroom list. Remember to bring the requested items when you register. This information is located on the Newton County Schools website, www.newtoncountyschools.org.

Open House will be held July 30, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you have already registered your child or your child is returning to ENES from the previous year, you will be able to visit your child’s teacher. Suggested supply lists are posted on our school’s webpage.

August 1, 2014 will be here before you know it. In the meantime, have fun, be safe, and don’t forget to read, read, read!

Warmest regards,

Mrs. Dr. Coady
