Textbook Adoption

We are considering materials for science textbook adoption.  We would like your input.  Please use the links below to review science materials from publishers considered for adoption.  Materials may also be viewed at each of the elementary schools and at the Newton County School System Board Office, during normal business hours.  Additionally, we value your input.  Please respond to the survey, using the links below.  Please forward questions about K-5 adoption to  The survey will close at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

 All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish.
