HOMECOMING 2017 DANCE 

Date: Friday, September 22, 2017
Time: 7:30 pm – 10:00pm
Location: Eastside High School
Tickets: $8 each or 2 for $15
 
HOMECOMING DANCE DRESS CODE 
Ladies
• Dresses must be fingertip length
• No revealing necklines/backlines
• No 2 piece dresses that expose midriff
• Sheer (see-through) apparel is not permitted if it exposes areas that should be covered

Gentlemen
• Dress slacks (no denim)
• Button down shirt
• Tie or bowtie
• Jacket optional

OUTSIDE DATES
An “Outside Date” is anyone not currently enrolled at Eastside High School. 
• Outside Date Application Homecoming 2017 must be completed and returned by 9/13/17 at 3:15pm
• Prospective Date must have valid picture ID to enter the Homecoming Dance 
• Prospective Date cannot be older than 19 years old


PROM 2018  

Date: Saturday, March 17, 2018
Time: 7pm – 11pm
Location: The Biltmore

Tickets: $65 (Oct 1-Nov 30); $75 (Dec 1-Feb 28)

**NO  PROM TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER FEBRUARY 28TH**

Tickets can be purchased on MyPaymentsPlus anytime and onsite on select dates. NCCA students can purchase tickets before school.

PROM 2018 GUIDELINES

  1. Any EHS student who plans to attend Prom MUST pay for his or her Junior/Senior $20 dues. Dues are to be paid to the Bookkeeper Mrs. Mask. 
  2. Students and guests must be in good standing at EHS and at their school.
  3. Students cannot have two or more separate out of school suspensions or excessive in school suspensions.
  4. Students cannot have more than 10 unexcused absences.
  5. Guests must present a driver’s license or school photo ID for identification for admission. No person over the age of 20 will be admitted to the Prom.
  6. Only students and guests meeting the dress code requirements will be admitted to the prom. It is the student’s responsibility to inform guests of the dress code expectations.
  7. Prom tickets CANNOT be transferred to another attendee. If your date changes, then a new information form must be submitted and another ticket must be purchased. 
  8. Absolutely NO alcohol/drugs or tobacco is permitted at the Prom.
  9. Students are not allowed to re-enter the prom upon leaving.
  10. Students and/or guests will comply with requests from the staff and chaperones. No rude or vulgar language or disrespect of adults will be tolerated. All Prom attendees must adhere to the code of conduct in the 2017-2018 EHS Student Handbook.
PROM 2018 DRESS CODE
Any student or guest whose attire is in violation to the published Prom Dress code may be prohibited from entering the prom and will not be entitled to a refund. Also, anyone altering their attire after entering/during the prom and violating the Prom Dress code will be asked to leave.

Ladies
• No 2-Piece dresses that expose midriff. 
• Strapless dresses are allowed; however, they must meet the front neckline guidelines below.
• Front necklines shall not be lower than a line formed between the right and left armpits. This guideline governs cleavage, and the Principal’s/designee’s decision is final. 
• Dresses, hemlines and slits must be fingertip length.
• Sheer (see-through) apparel is not permitted if it exposes areas that should be covered.
• Pictures of dresses are not required; however, it is recommended that a picture be submitted if you are not sure if the dress meets the Prom Dress code. All questions about dress code should be addressed with Administration/Prom Committee Chair prior to the day of Prom. IF IN DOUBT….GET APPROVAL!

Gentlemen
• Dress suits, tuxedos must be worn with a jacket, a tie or bow tie, and a dress shirt.
• Shirts are to be worn at all times; vests must have a shirt underneath and must be buttoned up to the second button from the collar.
• Polo-style shirts, t-shirts, or denim (jeans) type pants are not permitted. 
• Pants should fit properly on the hip; sagging pants are not permitted.
