From the Desk of Dr. Lynne DiNardo

Happy New Year to All!

The first semester of the school year ended on a very busy note. We had our Holiday Chorus performance, visits from Santa, and a new tradition- FHES staff Christmas Caroling. January brings many new activities including Bell to Bell, Muffins for Mom, and award ceremonies to honor student achievement.

Our goal has always been to strive daily to ensure the safety and education of all of our children. Please help us meet this goal when you are visiting our building.  Always sign in and out in the office, wear your visitor badge so that it is easily visible to staff members, and be prepared to show ID if you come to visit or checkout a student.  We will continue to hold regular safety drills with our staff and students.  Please feel free to stop by the office or call me if you have any questions or concerns.  While we know some of these measures are not always convenient, the safety of our students is our first priority.

We will continue to implement Common Core Standards through rigorous instruction in all of our classrooms and to assess student achievement using a variety of measures. Report cards and progress reports will be sent home as scheduled and conferences will be held again in February.

The faculty and staff of Flint Hill Elementary are forever grateful that you, our stakeholders, are part of the success our students experience daily at FHES.

Dr. Lynne DiNardo
