From the Desk of Dr. Lynne DiNardo

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Flint Hill Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the 2014-2015 school year. Flint Hill Elementary has established itself through its dedicated service to our children and families. We are proud of our students. They continue to increase levels of achievement and make significant academic gains. John F Kennedy once said, “Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength of the nation." -- John F. Kennedy

The faculty and staff of Flint Hill Elementary School dedicate itself to the success of all students. We will not forget that the school belongs to our community and its citizens. Therefore, we want all of our parents and students to feel ownership. It is our pledge to you that we will emphasize academics, safety, and moral character. We need every home in the community to join with us in this endeavor!

I would like to let everyone know that we work diligently at FHES to serve and protect our students and staff. As you will recall, we ask that you always sign in at the front office and wear the visitor’s sticker. We also ask for you to ALWAYS sign out. If you are checking your child out, we will continue to request identification if we do not know you. Regardless, always be prepared to show your identification. All transportation changes must be made in writing and no students may checkout after 1:30 P.M.

Fire drills, severe weather drills, and lockdown drills are part of our monthly safety protocol, and we will continue this procedure to ensure the safety of FHES students and staff.

I look forward to working with all of you!

Dr. Lynne DiNardo
