The Teach For Tomorrow Technology Conference  provides the perfect platform to launch the start of the new school year by providing opportunities for educators to collaborate, communicate, and innovate. You can expect compelling sessions and collaborative workshops delivered by our exceptional educational professionals, industry leaders, and educational partners who are committed to innovation in teaching and learning. Returning this year, we will feature ourNCSS "Tech Tank".  One talented participant will earn a laptop cart for their classroom. 

Scholars of the Week

Each week the Newton County School System features two high school seniors who have received recognition for being a Scholar of the Week! In order to be eligible, students must be a high school senior, be in good standing with their school, have a cumulative GPA of 90 or higher, and be nominated by their school counselor with the approval of the school principal.

Our students regularly compete at the local, state, and national levels and we pride ourselves as a district that provides great academic and extracurricular programs for our students.
