From the Principal

Indian Creek Middle School was established in 1997 as a part of the Newton County School System. ICMS is located in the city of Covington, Georgia, an eastern metropolitan area of Atlanta. The faculty and staff at Indian Creek Middle School dedicates itself to the success of all students. As we bridge the gap between elementary and high school, we have the important task of keeping each student academically successful. We will not forget that the school belongs to our community and its citizens. Therefore, we want all our parents and students to feel ownership. It is our pledge to you that we will emphasize academics, safety, and moral character. We need every home in the community to join with us in this endeavor!

Getting Ready for the 2013-2014 School Year

It's already time to start planning for next year! Newton County Middle Schools have a summer reading program that requires all students to keep reading over the summer.

We have a 6th Grade Day Camp to prepare 6th graders for middle school. Pre-register by June 30th.

ICMS Goes Wireless

Indian Creek now has a wireless network. We will be using this network to participate in the school system's Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) initiative. Read more about our plans!
