Summer Bridge Camps
Learn more about the next school you'll be attending - ours or one of the high schools - by attending Summer Bridge Camp. For rising 6th graders, learn more about ours and register here. For rising 9th graders or another middle school, click here.
Here is an initial list of suggested supplies for school. At Open House, teachers may recommend more specific supplies for their classes.

APPLICATIONS for RISING 6th GRADERS
Mrs. Raines' Language Arts classes just completed an interdisciplinary unit on argumentative writing and waste production at ICMS. On Wednesday, March 30, the students had a STEM Day where they presented their findings to parents and guests. Thank you to all parents, administrators, and County Office personnel who took part in the day. Click here for photos.
STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) education seeks to develop critical thinkers and students who can work collaboratively to problem solve. Indian Creek now has a 6th grade team exploring the STEM initiative. Learn more about STEM as we expand our offerings and programming.
Microsoft Office for Students
Using the Email/Office 365 link at the top of the page, all students and staff have online access to Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Simply login with a county assigned email address. Student email addresses are the NCSS username (last name, first initial, middle initial, MMDD of birth) @newtonstudents.org (ex: email@example.com). Passwords are whatever the student has set his/her password to be. Want more? Students can download Microsoft Office onto their computers, phones, and tablets for FREE. 5 free downloads per student.
