From the Principal

Dear Live Oak Parent/Guardian,

Words cannot express how excited we are to work alongside you during the 2016-2017  year as we embark upon our Live Oak adventure! We have a beautiful state of the art facility complete with emerging technology such as ActivBoards in each classroom as well as two fully operational computer labs.

Our goal is to provide students with a safe and nurturing environment that will enable them to academically thrive and successfully compete with others on a global level. Research shows that 21st Century Learners have the ability to work collaboratively with others, practice civility with others, and create ideas for the betterment of others and themselves. We strive to equip students with these skills in order for their success to be maximized at all times.

As a PBIS School, we emphasize our core tenants of being safe, responsible, and respectful.  We believe that all students have a right to a top notch education here at our school.  Therefore, each student has the responsibility to show good behavior so that their learning is not impeded nor the learning of boys and girls who are in the classroom with students.

As parents/guardians, you are an essential part of your child’s success. It takes the community, parents, educators, and students working together to build a productive future for our children.

Please know that we are in the business of working together with families for the benefit of our children. We are proud of Live Oak and hope you will be also!  We love each and every one of our students, and it is a blessing to be a part of their early education.  You are ALWAYS welcome at our school.

Remember, it's always a GREAT day to be a Live Oak Lion!
