Live Oak 2015-16 Title I Plan (REVISED).doc

The Parent Occupational Survey is designed to identify and provide assistance to students succeed in school, and to successfully transition to post- secondary education.   Parents are encouraged to complete the parent occupational education survey located in students' agenda and our school's enrollment package.

From the Principal

Dear Live Oak Parent/Guardian,

Words cannot express how excited we are to work alongside you this year as we embark upon our Live Oak adventure! We have a beautiful state of the art facility complete with emerging technology such as ActivBoards in each classroom as well as two fully operational computer labs.

Our goal is to provide students with a safe and nurturing environment that will enable them to academically thrive and successfully compete with others on a global level. Research shows that 21st Century Learners have the ability to work collaboratively with others, practice civility with others, and create ideas for the betterment of others and themselves. We strive to equip students with these skills in order for their success to be maximized at all times.

As parents/guardians, you are an essential part of your child’s success. It takes the community, parents, educators, and students working together to build a productive future for our children.

Please know that we are in the business of working together with families for the benefit of our children. We are proud of Live Oak and hope you will be also!  Remember, it's always a GREAT day to be a Live Oak Lion!
