Mrs. Patricia Almand

Patricia Almand is in her third year of teaching second grade at Livingston.  She taught fourth and fifth grades for 9 years at Hendrix Drive Elementary School in Clayton County, where she earned her ESOL endorsement.  Previously, she worked as a paraprofessional for almost 4 years in the Walton County School System.

Patricia received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University, graduating when she was 40 years old.  Prior to teaching she received an Associate Degree in Secretarial Studies from Clayton Junior College.  She has worked as a receptionist, a bookkeeper, and an administrative assistant prior to spending time raising her 2 daughters and volunteering in their schools, teaching Sunday School classes, and leading their Scout troops.

Patricia lives in Walton County with her husband of 32 years.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and planning meaningful experiences for her students.
