An open letter to our Ram Fans from Coach Ras...

Thank you to all our great fans for coming out last night to help pull us through in a 100-72 first round victory over Peachtree Ridge. Next up is a rematch from last season's state semi-final loss with highly talented Westlake next Thursday Feb. 23 at Newton HS at 7:00 pm. Although our students will be out on Winter Break, we hope you all will be there to support us again.

Coach Ras Rick Rasmussen

Admission for the Feb 27th game vs Westlake HS will be $7.00.

Please come out and support your hometown Rams as they take a run for the state championship!

Dear Parents and Students,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday break and are looking forward to our students returning to NHS! We have a great deal to prepare for in this New Year and I know that together we will provide our students with the education needed to meet the demands of an ever changing world.

Our staff of highly qualified professional educators and support personnel is committed to providing our students with experiences that prepare them to be productive, responsible, and accountable citizens. We encourage students and parents to work in constructive partnership with us to seize every academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunity. Together we will continue to build upon and refine our proven foundation of good work, honored traditions, and continued excellence in education.

As a reminder, the school day begins at 8:15a.m. with the first warning bell ringing at 8:00a.m. If your student does not ride the bus to school, please insure they are arriving by 8:00a.m. NHS has clearly defined rules for student attendance, dress code, and behavior.

We are looking forward to a great 2017!

GO RAMS!  #RamsRise
