The NHS 9th Grade Open House will be held on July 30, 2008 in the auditorium from 11:00am-1:00pm. All parents/guardians of FIRST year 9th graders are asked to attend and bring their new NHS freshman, too! Please contact the school at 770-787-2250 for more info or if you have any questions.

This summer we are offering Summer Remediation/Preparation and testing. These classes will consist of insrtuction aimed to better prepare the students for the GHSGT. The dates will be June 30 - July 11th with July 4th being a holiday. The classes and testing will be held at Eastside High School. The summer administrations of the Graduation Tests are July 14 - Science & Math; July 15th - Social Studies & Language Arts and July 16th - Writing. Students should have registered with their counselor or Dr. Skinner for all summer testing activities. If you have questions, please email Dr. Skinner at skinner.carl@newton.k12.ga.us. Attention Newton High School Class of 2009: All rising seniors who wish to be in the yearbook next year must have pictures taken at Ezell’s Studios in Conyers. Pictures will be taken from June 4th through July 31st. Go online at EZELLSSTUDIOS.COM to book your appointment. Portraits must be taken before school starts in the fall.
