Newton High School offers 3 levels of football to its student athletes. We have a Varsity team, Junior Varsity and 9th grade. The Varsity plays in region 2AAAAA in the GHSA. The top 4 teams in the region will advance to the state tournament. We will be striving to be one of these teams.

* On Saturday, October 22, 2011 @ 7:30 pm, Newton Rams football team will play Westlake Lions. We are asking everyone to wear pink to support breast cancer awareness.

* Pink ribbons will be available to purchase for $.50 at the football game. Proceeds will benefit a local cancer organization.

* Newton Rams gift set are available for $7. Gift sets include a Ram t-shirt and Ram towel. RAM Blankets are in and available for $35 with the Fierce Ram. See Mrs. Dean or Mrs. Willis for purchase.

* Do you need extra cash? Can you kick a field goal? There will be a chance to win $50 and show your talent during half time of Newton Rams vs. Westlake Lions game on Saturday. You can purchase a $1 raffle for a chance to win.
