Students at Oak Hill will be participating the Georgia Competency Referenced Criterion Testing (GaCRCT) exam series during the third week of April. In order to help students better prepare, Riverside Publishing Company has designed a website to make online practice tests available. Each student has a logon name and password which gives them access to a list of tests available.

 The Online Assessment System (OAS) web address is https://www.georgiaoas.org

 To begin go to the OAS website. Have your child logon with his/her 10 digit login number and password. These should be listed in their agenda or may be obtained from their teacher or Ms. Balogh in the Computer Lab.

 If  you receive a blank screen, turn off your "pop-up blocker" software and attempt to log on again.

There are two types of tests: Student Tests which are automatically assigned to the student by grade level, and Teacher-Assigned Tests in which the teacher has created and assigned the tests.

To take a Student Test:
From the Student Welcome Page, select View Student Tests.
Choose a subject area (e.g., Math) from the list of available subjects.
Select a test, then click Take Test.
Answer the question, selecting Next Question to advance to the next page or passage.
Once you have answered all test question click on Grade My Test.
If you have answered all questions click on OK.
View the test results then scroll to the bottom of the and decide what to do with the test results: Send them to a teacher, save the results, or discard them.
Then select Student Tests, Teacher-Assigned Tests or Logout to choose another test.

To take a Teacher-Assigned Test:
From the Student Welcome Page, select View Teacher-Assigned Tests.
Select a test from the Test List Page, then click Take Test.
Answer the question, selecting Next Question to advance to the next page or passage.
Once you have answered all test question click on Grade My Test.
If you have answered all questions click on OK.
View the test results, if available. Click Return Home to return to the Student Welcome Page. Choose another test or Logout.

If a student has started a test and paused it before finishing, it has been saved.
From the Teacher Assigned test list, make sure the box, Show Paused Tests Only is checked in order to see the list of tests that have been paused.
Select the paused test that you want to continue, then click Take Test to resume working on the test.

To view the test results, from the Student Welcome Page select View Student Tests (then select a subject area) or select View Teacher-Assigned Tests.
Select See Results.
A list of test that have been scored will be shown.
Click on the test that you want to view and then click See Results.
Click Return home to return to the list of tests.
Click Go Back to return to the Student Welcome Page.
Log Out when you are finished.
