Mr. Dennis Marcus Butts

Social Studies

Mr. Butts is a 1985 graduate of South Carolina State University, where he obtained a B.A. in Social Studies Education.  He is a husband and father of three.  His twin boys are sophomores at Alcovy High School, and his daughter is a freshman at Savannah State University.

Mr. Butts has 16 years of teaching experience.  He has been teaching at Sharp Learning Center since the Spring of 1994, that's 14 years.  He is currently teaching high school Social Studies. Mr. Butts was the 1999-2000 Teacher of the Year for Sharp Learning Center.  

He is presently pursuing his Master's Degree at Troy State University.
