Referrals to the program can be made by the base school, social worker, service
agencies (such as Juvenile Court, Mental Health, Department of Family and
Children Services), the Disciplinary Hearing Tribunal, or
The curriculum is composed of the essential state required courses of language
arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and self-discipline. These
Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) based courses include hands-on activities,
real life application skills, and computer/laser disk instruction.
High School students who meet the eligibility requirements have a unique
opportunity to earn college credit while attending high school.
Students who pass the college placement exams can enroll in a semester
long course in Customer Service. This
