Mrs.
Takila Meadows-Curry is no stranger to Newton County nor is she a
stranger to the importance of a quality education.
Mrs.
Curry received her formal education in the Social Circle School System.
After graduation she began her pursuit of higher education. Her choice
of a professional career was greatly influenced by the Biblical

way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
She
received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education
from the State University of West Georgia; however, this accomplishment
was just the beginning of her pursuit. She continued her preparation at
Jacksonville State University where she received her Master’s Degree in

Administration. Recently, she received a Doctorate Degree in Educational
Administration from Georgia Southern University. All of these
experiences are propelled by her profound belief and commitment to the
Biblical reference of Proverbs 22:6.

that she works with on a daily basis. She is happily married to Keith
