We're also happy to share a message from our Superintendent, Dr. Duke Bradley.
Thank you for your continued support as we strive to make Newton County Schools the fastest improving school district in Georgia!
Letter from Dr. Bradley
Dear Parents and Staff,
As we conclude the second quarter of the 2025 school-year, I am pleased to share with you our Quarter 2, Quarterly Report - a summary of our work spanning the months of November through February. This report also recounts our progress in alignment with the organizational priorities established by the Newton County Schools' Board of Education.
Let me also share that this year has been unlike any other, with several challenges and interruptions along the way. In spite of multiple unexpected events - including Hurricane Helene, the BioLab fire, the Apalachee tragedy, and two rounds of snow days that led to school closures, we have not been distracted from our focus. In fact, we continue to move forward with a relentless commitment to our goals and ensuring that we remain resilient even in the face of challenge and adversity.
Furthermore, our commitment to enhanced transparency and communication with you remains at the forefront of our efforts. One of the primary ways that we fulfill this commitment is through our quarterly reporting process which serves as an important tool for keeping everyone informed and engaged.
In advance, I want to thank you for your continued support. As we look to the remaining months of the school year, rest assured that our district and Board remains committed to the continued success of Newton County Schools.
Sincerely,
Duke
