Dear Newton County Schools Community,
Sending a quick note to everyone who joined us for our recently held community engagement meeting as we begin developing our next five-year strategic plan. The turnout was fantastic, and the feedback was useful. But this is only the beginning, and we will not relent until we have gathered the feedback, insights, and perspectives of our entire community.
In my view, this is our moment to DREAM BIG!
Together, we can,
- Envision the future of academic programming!
- Create new experiences and opportunities for our students!
- Explore efficiencies and cost savings that can be reinvested!
- Consider how we can become more innovative and technology-driven! -- and so much more!
Newton County Schools belongs to us all, but most especially to you - our students, families, staff, and community members.
As the next step in the process, we invite you to complete our initial survey, which will help provide early guidance on the priorities we should consider. This is a part of what will be a months-long process, one that will only be successful if it truly reflects the collective voice of our community.
