Textbook Adoption Request for InputNewton County Schools (NCS) is reviewing materials for an upcoming middle and high school English Language Arts (ELA) textbook adoption and would like stakeholder input.

Parents/guardians and teachers may visit the links found on the district website to review materials from publishers under consideration: McGraw-Hill StudySync, HMH Into Literature, Carnegie Learning Lenses on Literature, and Savvas myPerspectives for 6th-12th grade courses, as well as Pearson, BFW (Bedford, Freeman, and Worth), and Norton for high school AP ELA courses. Materials from these publishers may be reviewed at each of the middle and high schools, as well as at the NCS Board of Education during normal business hours.

The district website is found at https://www.newtoncountyschools.org/.

Any questions or concerns about the secondary ELA textbook adoption for grades sixth through twelfth should be directed to Mrs. Kristen Bagwell at [email protected].
