NCS Asks for Parent/Guardian and Teacher Input on Secondary English Language Arts (Grades 6-12) Textbook Adoption Materials

Newton County Schools (NCS) is reviewing materials for an upcoming middle and high school English Language Arts (ELA) textbook adoption and would like stakeholder input.
Parents/guardians and teachers may visit the links found on the district website to review materials from publishers under consideration: McGraw-Hill StudySync, HMH Into Literature, Carnegie Learning Lenses on Literature, and Savvas myPerspectives for 6th-12th grade courses, as well as Pearson, BFW (Bedford, Freeman, and Worth), and Norton for high school AP ELA courses. Materials from these publishers may be reviewed at each of the middle and high schools, as well as at the NCS Board of Education during normal business hours.
After reviewing the materials under consideration, NCS asks parents/guardians and teachers to take a brief survey at the links found on the district website.
