One-Time Pay Adjustment Guidelines

The following guidelines outline eligibility requirements for the $2,000 one-time pay adjustment. This payment is intended to provide financial recognition to qualifying employees based on employment status and hire date criteria. To ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance with funding parameters, the criteria below define which employees are eligible to receive the adjustment and identify positions that are excluded.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the one-time pay adjustment, employees must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Have a hire date on or before March 3, 2026, the date the FY’26 Amended Budget was signed by the Governor.
2. Remain actively employed with the District through April 2, 2026, the date the payment will be distributed.
3. Be employed in a full-time, benefits-eligible position.
Employees who are on approved leave as of April 2, 2026, will receive the payment upon their return to active status, provided they return prior to the end of their contract year.
Employees who resign, retire, or are terminated prior to April 2, 2026, will not be eligible for the payment.
Positions Not Eligible
The following positions are not eligible for the one-time pay adjustment:
• Substitutes
• Part-time positions
• Third-party contracted positions
Additional Provisions
• The payment will be issued as a full $2,000 and will not be prorated.
• The payment is subject to applicable federal and state taxes and payroll withholdings; however, it is not subject to TRS withholdings.
• Employees who transfer positions within the District remain eligible, provided there is no break in service.
