Newton County School System will host summer camps for students beginning June 5, 2023. These camps include Little Scholars, for rising kindergarten through second grade students; Camp Ignite! for students in third through fifth grade; and Jumpstart, for rising sixth through twelfth grade students. LITTLE SCHOLARS
RISING KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SECOND GRADE
Students will participate in FUN, engaging activities as they visit a new theme each week. Each theme, will provide activities in reading, vocabulary, writing, and math. Science and social studies will be integrated through hands-on and engaging activities. Meals and modified transportation will be provided.
Dates: June 5-8, 2023, June 12-15, June 19-22, and/or June 26-29 Time: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Student drop off will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Camp Ignite! is an enrichment experience designed to provide students opportunities to explore new subjects, learn new skills, and discover new interests in a positive and engaging learning environment. Centralized bus locations will be provided.

JUMPSTART
RISING SIXTH THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE
JUMPSTART is designed to provide students with an
opportunity to explore new subjects and interests and to develop new skills in
fun and engaging ways. This program can assist students with transitioning from
elementary to middle and middle to high. The middle and high school programs
are held at different locations and courses vary between locations. Breakfast,
lunch and transportation from centralized bus locations will be provided at no
