Newton County Schools is inviting educators and support professionals seeking a rewarding career in public education to attend the district’s upcoming Summer Hiring Event for the 2026–2027 school year. The event will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Newton County Schools Board Office, located at 2109 Newton Drive NE in Covington.
The district is actively recruiting highly qualified teachers and paraprofessionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students.
During the hiring event, applicants will have the opportunity to meet principals and district leaders from schools across Newton County, learn more about available positions and school culture, and participate in on-the-spot interviews. Candidates are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, and contingency contracts may be offered to top candidates during the event.
