Newton County Schools invites families, staff, students, and community members to participate in the first of three scheduled Community Conversations to be held at Newton High School on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 6:30 pm. – 8:00 p.m.
Hosted by Superintendent Dr. Duke Bradley, III and members of the district’s executive team, this gathering will provide a chance for community stakeholders to gain clarity about the work underway in the district, while also sharing insights into potential areas of focus as the district prepares for a new strategic plan.
“Strong school systems enable the voice of all stakeholders to be heard,” said Dr. Bradley. “I’m committed to making this a core element of our work. At the same time, we must begin with a common understanding about what we’re doing and why. There must be a baseline of common knowledge, common awareness, and common understanding to appropriately engage with one another in a meaningful way. Our team is looking forward to bringing the community together to take a step toward this effort.”
Other Community Conversations, which are a part of the district’s efforts to deepen stakeholder engagement are planned as well, so please plan to attend whichever is most convenient for you.
