Newton High School Announces the Class of 2021 Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Top 10 Graduates
Newton High School is pleased to announce the top ten graduates of the Class of 2021! Graduating at the top of the class is valedictorian, Nathaniel “Skye” Nash, and salutatorian, Russell Danilchuk. Rounding out the top ten graduates are: Abigail Caceres, Zoe Mayo, Alanys Elvir-Bustillo, Iyonna Clark, Julia Kolt, Alexander Simons, Karington Perry, and Jada Spillers.

• Nathaniel “Skye” Nash—The Class of 2021 valedictorian plans to attend Oxford College of Emory University. He chose Mr. Joshua Cook as his favorite teacher.
• Russell Danilchuk—The Class of 2021 salutatorian will attend Georgia Tech in the fall. He chose Mr. Ryan Allred as his favorite teacher.
• Abigail Caceres—Abigail plans to attend the University of Georgia. She chose Ms. Laura Lambert as her favorite teacher.
• Zoe Mayo—Zoe will attend Spelman College in the fall. She chose Ms. Shundra Green as her favorite teacher.
• Alanys Elvir-Bustillo—Alanys is attending Georgia Tech this fall. She chose Ms. Rachel Barkley as her favorite teacher.
• Iyonna Clark—Iyonna plans to attend Georgia Tech in the fall. She chose Mr. Duane Williams as her favorite teacher.
• Julia Kolt—Julia is attending Harvey Mudd College this fall. She chose Ms. Jennifer Camba as her favorite teacher.
• Alexander Simons—Alexander will attend Georgia Tech in the fall. He chose Ms. Jasmine El-Jourbagy as his favorite teacher.
• Karington Perry—Karington will attend Elizabeth City State University in the fall. She chose Dr. Victoria Lockhart as her favorite teacher.
• Jada Spillers—Jada is attending the University of Georgia this fall. She chose Ms. Vanessa Mattox as her favorite teacher.
