Newton County School System is excited to announce the return of our Parent Connect series. This year, we are joined by all district departments to ensure that we have a robust lineup and give our parents the most updated information to support teaching and learning. The Parent Connect workshops will be held each Friday at 10:00 a.m. The live workshops will be recorded, and the recording will be hosted on our
Parent Connect Canvas Page (under the training calendar button).
Our Parent Connect sessions include the following topics:
• Transition: The Pathway to Your Student’s Future (March 3)
• Creating a Parent Portal Account (March 10)
• PBIS: What Do I need to Know (March 17)
• Back to the Basics: Google Docs (March 24)
• Navigating Infinite Campus (March 31)
During our sessions you will receive tips, tools and tricks for supporting your student at home, supporting technology tools, and learning about NCSS services.
