Due to forecasted inclement weather, all Newton County Schools weekend activities, including the Social Studies Fair and all athletic events, are canceled for Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1.
The district will work to reschedule these events and will share new dates and times as soon as possible.
The district’s Operations team will continue to monitor conditions throughout the weekend. If weather conditions have the potential to impact Monday operations, families and staff will be notified through our standard communication channels, including the automated calling system, email, district social media, and metro Atlanta television stations.
