No Place for Hate

No Place for Hate® is an initiative of the Anti-Defamation League offered free to schools. With public displays of hate on the rise, it is more important than ever for schools to commit to programs that clearly define expectations in behavior for all members of the community. Whether you are a student, educator, or family member, you have a role to play in combating bias and bullying as a means to stop the escalation of hate.

The initiative is designed to rally the entire school around the goal of creating a welcoming community committed to stopping all forms of bias and bullying. No Place For Hate® provides a unique framework to incorporate new and existing programs with one consistent message. No Place For Hate® can help your school foster a culture of respect and create a safe, bully-free learning environment for students at all grade levels.

Newton County is proud to be one of only a few districts holding the No Place For Hate distinction. For the past two years ALL of our schools have been designated as No Place for Hate schools. The 2020-21 school year begins our third year of district wide implementation of No Place for Hate. Visit our Photo Gallery page throughout the school year to see school based activities.
