The Newton College & Career Academy STEM Institute (NCCASI) will host an Open House on Thursday, February 1 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Newton College and Career Academy (NCCA) to provide more information to students and parents interested in the program.
NCCASI recruits rising freshmen with a strong interest in engineering or biotechnology as a future career choice. While students may vary in their background and represent the diversity of Newton County’s population, they are similar in their motivation to achieve academically and in their determination to prepare for professional careers and positions of leadership. Students will achieve this through exposure to a unique advanced curriculum combined with project-based/ problem-based learning, FLEX days, and research projects.
Those interested in applying to the NCCASI are encouraged to attend the STEM Open House on Thursday, February 1. For more information about the STEM Institute or the application process, please contact Ms. Laura Lambert, STEM Institute Program Director, at
