NCSS Announces Notice of Intent to Apply for 21st Century Community Learning Grants
The Newton County School System is in the process of submitting applications for three 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) grants for afterschool programs at a total of eight schools and a community center. The application for the Newton County 21st CCLC After School Academic Program (ASAP I) proposes to serve students at Middle Ridge Elementary School, Porterdale Elementary School, and Newton High School. The second application for the Newton County 21st CCLC After School Academic Program (ASAP II) proposes to serve students at West Newton Elementary School, Indian Creek Middle School, and Washington Street Community Center. The final application for the Newton County 21st CCLC After School Academic Program (ASAP III) proposes to serve students at Fairview Elementary School, Flint Hill Elementary School, and Eastside High School.
