By unanimous vote at their December 15, 2020 monthly meeting, the Newton County Board of Education approved the 2021-2022 school calendar. The 2021-2022 school year will officially start for students on August 2, 2021 and end on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Important dates on the school calendar include:
• Fall Break = October 11-15, 2021
• Thanksgiving Break = November 22-26, 2021
• Winter Holiday Break = December 20-31, 2021
• Mid-Winter Holiday Break = February 18 & 21, 2022
• Spring Break = April 4-8, 2022
