Newton County School System’s (NCSS) Technology Department has announced free technical training and development opportunities for our parents and other stakeholders through our Parent Connect program. According to Dr. Adam Phyall, Director of Technology and Media Services for NCSS, the district will offer free learning session on Microsoft tools and Google tools throughout the school year. All learning sessions will take place at 10:00 am.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and guardians to get familiar with the tools their student will use in their classrooms,” Phyall explained. “All sessions will be live webinars and recorded then linked back to the Parent Connect Canvas course for future reference.”
