Register today to attend the Newton County School System (NCSS) Summer Hiring Event for Teachers and Paraprofessionals on Monday, June 27, at the Newton County Board of Education building located at 2109 Newton Drive NE, Covington.
“We have teaching positions available at both the elementary and secondary levels,” said Nyree Sanders, Director of Human Resources for Newton County Schools. “We are offering a $1,000 signing incentive to eligible teachers who sign a contract at our Summer Hiring Event.” Eligible teachers will receive the incentive when they begin working for NCSS in August.
The Summer Hiring Event will be divided into two sections—a Job Fair and Open Interviews. The Job Fair will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and pre-registration is required. Teacher candidates may register

HERE. After the Job Fair concludes, NCSS Human Resources staff will host walk-in interviews to prospective teacher and paraprofessional candidates from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pre-registration is not required.
