Newton County Schools

On May 21, 2024 Newton County voters overwhelmingly approved a SPLOST to run from 2025-2029. Projects included in the SPLOST include securing school entrances at multiple schools, renovations and modifications including roofing, HVAC, flooring and painting at select schools, athletic improvements at the three base high schools, increased technology including laptops for students and teachers, classroom panels, cabling and fiber installation, band equipment and uniforms, athletic equipment, furniture, buses and support vehicles.
